Sensory Friendly Day
July 8th, 2026 from 8am-5pm
Held on the first day of the Fair, Sensory Friendly Day offers a calmer, more predictable fair experience for children, teens, and adults who may benefit from reduced sensory input, as well as for their families and caregivers.
What to Expect at the Fair:
- A more relaxed atmosphere during the morning and into the afternoon, with lower crowd levels when possible
- Quiet Carnival Rides from 4:00–5:00 PM, with ride music turned off and only essential safety announcements played. Only those that pre-register will receive the sponsored VIP pass
- Rentable Sensory Go-Bags (available while supplies last), including noise-reducing headphones, fidgets, and helpful resources will be available in the Fort Healthcare Tent on Wednesday, July 8th
- Social story and sensory map available on this website below
- Community resource information available in the Fort Healthcare Tent, featuring local therapy services, support groups, and organizations
