Sensory Friendly Day

July 8th, 2026 from 8am-5pm

Held on the first day of the Fair, Sensory Friendly Day offers a calmer, more predictable fair experience for children, teens, and adults who may benefit from reduced sensory input, as well as for their families and caregivers.

What to Expect at the Fair:

• A more relaxed atmosphere during the morning and into the afternoon, with lower crowd levels when possible
• Quiet Carnival Rides from 4:00–5:00 PM, with ride music turned off and only essential safety announcements played. Only those that pre-register will receive the sponsored VIP pass
• Rentable Sensory Go-Bags (available while supplies last), including noise-reducing headphones, fidgets, and helpful resources will be available in the Fort Healthcare Tent on Wednesday, July 8th
• Social story and sensory map available on this website below
• Community resource information available in the Fort Healthcare Tent, featuring local therapy services, support groups, and organizations

When can you register?:

March - July 1st (or while supplies last)

Families & groups are encouraged to pre-register online to access added benefits designed to make Sensory Friendly Day even better. If registered, upon arrival to the Fair, you can pick up a Pre-Registered Sensory Day Pack to make your day a little extra fun!

Eligible individuals who need sensory accommodations will receive:

• 50% off Fair admission (for the participant, their immediate family, or care groups)
• One free fair food item (to be redeemed at one of our participating vendor stands)
• One VIP ride pass for the registered individual
  • Guardian or accompanying family members will have to purchase ride tickets or wristbands separately at the Fair

How to Pre-Register & Receive Benefits

Choose the amount of tickets below for your family or group and click "Buy Now". You'll be redirected to a form to complete your information.

After checking out, you'll receive your tickets via email. You may print them to bring to the fair or have them ready on your phone.
At the Fair, we'll ask all registered participants to enter via Gate 4 where we will have a "Pre-Registered Sensory Day Pack" under the primary contact's name. It will have all necessary information including ride ticket and food item voucher!
