YQCA - Youth for the Quality Care of Animals

YQCA (Youth for the Quality Care of Animals) is a service which teaches individuals ages 8-21 about food safety, animal care, and character development.

The Jefferson County Fair's Animal Auction knows that the values taught by taking the YQCA course is paramount for exhibitors raising sale animals; therefore, YQCA certification is a requirement for all JCF auction participants. See the information below on how to take the course, find help, and upload it to the Jefferson County Fair!

Finding your certificate:

On the help video, skip to 3:35 for instructions on accessing your certificate. This is what will be needed to participate at the Fair.

How to submit the Certificate to the Fair:

Submission: Participants who complete the program must submit their certificate by May 31st, 2026 in one of the following ways:

  1. Download the course completion certificate and submit it to the Fair by submitting through the mandatory auction form here: Mandatory Auction Participation Form (most common)
  2. Print off the course completion certificate and drop it off at the Fair Park office in the Activity Center (8am-4:30pm weekdays)
  3. Email the course completion certificate to fair@jeffersoncountywi.gov
