Fairest Rules and Requirements

History

When the Wisconsin Fairest of the Fair program began in 1965, multiple counties were recruited to join in. Our first record of a Jefferson County Fairest of the Fair begins in 1978 with Tammy Johnson (Kielbasa). In 1992, the Fairest program officially became an established and cherished tradition of the Jefferson Fair. Children look up to them, exhibitors value their advice, and everyone benefits from their friendly and knowledgeable presence. If you'd like to learn more about the program, see the information below! Keep an eye out for the Fairest throughout Jefferson County, and follow her adventures on social media!
